The Boondocks Season 4 Preview

The brilliant satirical cultural cartoon, The Boondocks is back this April 21st with its 4th & final season! Undeniably one of the classics of Cartoon Network, fans wonder if with the ousting of Aaron Mcgruder, the boundary pushing visionary behind this series, the show will still maintain its edge and integrity as well as humor.

Aaron Mcgruder tweeted back in March that the show was "hijacked" from him. He recently issued this statement:

"I created The Boondocks two decades ago in college, did the daily comic for six years, and was showrunner on the animated series for the first three seasons. The Boondocks pretty much represents my life’s work to this point. Huey, Riley, and Granddad are not just property to me. They are my fictional blood relatives. Nothing is more painful than to leave them behind."

Aaron Mcgruder spent countless hours weaving controversy and intelligence into the past three seasons. He is now working on his new series BLACK JESUS which is also to be aired through Cartoon Network. He leaves us with the following quote which shows he hasn't lost his touch for sarcasm:

"To quote a great white man, 'Hollywood is a business'. And to quote another great white man, 'Don’t hold grudges'."
